Dr. Scott Hadland is an adolescent medicine specialist at Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Dr. Hadland is a member of the Massachusetts Commission on LGBTQ Youth, an independent state agency aimed at promoting the health and well-being of LGBTQ adolescents and young adults in Massachusetts schools and communities.
He is also a member of the Institutional Review Board at the Fenway Institute. Dr. Hadland’s clinical and research interests focus on substance use and other risk behaviors among youth. He received his MD degree from Washington University in St. Louis and his MPH from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health before completing his pediatrics residency and chief residency for the Boston Combined Residency Program. He is subspecialty trained in Adolescent Medicine and in Addiction Medicine.
