LGBT Health Week 2014

This year for LGBT Health Week, the National LGBT Health Education Center is releasing new materials focused on the importance of helping LGBT patients feel empowered to talk to their providers about being LGBT. These publications are a great way to get the conversation started! We are also offering a new webinar on creating a welcoming environment for LGBT people.

Poster for your Health Center!

DADT PosterIn response to multiple requests, we have developed a poster to display in your health center that helps create a welcoming climate. This poster encourages patients to talk to their provider about being LGBT, and lets patients know that providers will welcome the conversation. The poster complements our patient brochure, "Do Ask, Do Tell: Talking to your provider about being LGBT," which has been well received by patients and providers alike.
